A children’s picture book about autism
When my three-year-old, non-verbal son was diagnosed autistic, I decided to put pen to paper to come up with a way of helping him be better understood by his peers and those who cross paths with him.
Me and my Quirks is the result. It is a picture book for young children that looks at autism through his eyes.
I hope the book will help others understand what he does, how he thinks and why. I also hope it helps him and others like him who may be in the same situation.
‘I have my quirks, I know it’s true, but that’s the only difference between me and you.'
